How to setup Talking Compass apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Talking Compass Description
*Talking Compass with unique Voice assistance.**For this application to work, your device must have Magnetic sensor and Accelerometer sensor. If your device doesn’t have these sensors, any of the compass application cannot work on your device.
*** For Voice assistance to work, make sure your device supports Text-to-speech with English language support, and it is enabled on your device. To check it just go to settings> Accessibility>Text-to-speech output on your device.
This application can be used to turn your android device into Talking Compass, which can be used to get directions with voice assistance. It works just like normal compass and can be used to get the direction in which you are heading. This is very useful for most of your outdoor activities such as camping, trekking, hiking etc.

-> Accuracy check. This compass monitors accuracy of readings and prompts for calibration when the readings are inaccurate. Requires calibration when sensors report inaccurate readings.

Due to the presence of piece of metal or magnet nearby your device, your device may give erroneous readings. To calibrate your compass hold your device vertically pointing upwards and move in the direction of figure “8”. Or you can check menu and then calibrate.
-Why is the size of application large?
This application has HD user interface to provide great using experience. This makes the size of the application somewhat greater compared to other apps.
-What are the permission’s required?
1) This application is totally free (but Ad supported). So it requires permission to internet.
2) To calculate directions it needs access to fine and coarse location of the device.
3) As a part of user better user experience it also requires permission to vibrate.
**** This application reports bearing independently with respect to any of the 4 cardinal directions, North, South, East, West rather than using only North as reference. To get more accurate readings try to hold device flat.
